Failed NYS Inspection

Just failed inspection and argued with the guy today. This may sound dumb, but this is what i failed for. I called a mechanic (friend) and he also said they can't fail me for it.

- right blinker blinks faster than normal, not much, and hadn't even realized it.
- windshield wiper hose has a small leak

I'm pissed right now and am printing out a complaint because I feel this is BS.

Anyone know exactly if I can really fail for this???

Makes sense to me. Windshieldcleaner is flammable. Do you want that leaking onto your engine ?

The blinker makes less sense though. Probably just a bad ground.

well I am from Nys as well and it's called emissions and Safety inspection, so a blinker is safety i suppose.

And as someone said flamable material!

but that is bS, cuz for a car so old, it's madd easy for them to pass it lol.

I get mine done with a fone call...
