Hi, my name is Rob and have just come into the Supra scene two months ago. I live in Wisconsin and love tinkering with my cars. I purchased an 86.5 Mark III NA Supra which I fell in love with. Had the car for a month and got rear ended which has caused me to purchase a second one. My second one is an 87 Mark III Supra that was turbo-ed originally but I picked it up as a donor shell for my 7M-GE. Hope to get to know some other Supra owners on this site and use it for fun and for help when needed.

Thanks,
Rob

This is the donor shell I picked up for my motor and tranny. It still needs quite a bit of work but it's clean for the most part. I just need to get it running for stage one to be complete.

Well, it's been a while since I posted so it's about time for an update.

I had the car running for a while and got more work done on it. Ended up blowing the head gasket, geeeeee I didn't see that coming j/k. So I have it all pulled apart at the moment and doing a once over and slowly getting it back together. Right now I'm stuck on the transmission. I was going to buy a rebuild kit for my W58 but in less than a week it's no longer available locally. So I'm trying to see if I can find an R154 before I go ordering any parts online.

Here are some pics of what I've done.

Hello again,

Just wanted to share a picture of my engine. It's been installed back in the car along with various parts to continue the larger task of wiring. For the past month and a half I've had my nose buried in research about the electrical systems for these cars. I must say it's an overwhelming system for a mid 80's car. This photo shows the harness after it was pulled apart, customized and put back together to integrate full sequential injection and spark for the now on board MS3 + MS3X Standalone.

Hope this motivates some people to experiment with their Supras.
