Doesn't matter what kind of Shocks are used, they won't affect ride height.

My car has JZA70 Springs, and KYB's, I think the ride height is pretty close to the Eibachs.

yours are low pressure because you can push them down easily, and the don't pop back up hard.

high pressure shocks have a chamber charged with a type of gas (argon or some crap), this high pressure prevents air bubbles from forming in the shock oil and foaming up. Low pressure shocks rely on mounting the shock upside down to keep the air pocket away from the piston, and also use oil with anti-foaming additives.

Personally I like the ride feel of low pressure shocks. They feel different/better in my opinion.

I think that's called an "emulsion" shock, where as Bilstein is actually a nitrogen charged gas shock. I have a friend that used to take bilstein shocks apart and modify the valving and then put a schrader valve in them to recharge the nitrogen. :icon_wink Real gas shocks like Bilstein will handle more heat without fading.

I've posted these pictures a few times before, but here they are again. These are Eibach springs and KYB GR2 shocks.

As a $320 suspension upgrade, the Eibach/KYB setup works very well. It handles well for a 3,500-lb. car, with very little body roll (coupled with ST swaybars). They aren't going to compare with higher priced coilovers, but, in my novice opinion (I'm no autocrosser or road racer), they work well for a street car. Right now, the tires I have are the limiting factor, so I'll have to reserve full judgement until spring.
