Im getting everything back together after a headgasket install, And I noticed there was a sensor and connector on the egr hardpipe. I dont remember unplugging this sensor from the harness when I was taking off the head, and I cant seem to find where it goes on the harness. Im wondering what this is for and where I can plug it in on the harness?

thanks

The plug where it connects to is in the group of wires/connectors that goes down between runners 4 and 5 on the lower intake manifold. It will be with the VSV, abs & reverse lights that connect to the tranny, ect. It is a small 2 wire plug.

If you dont have a cali TCCS dont worry about it ;)

It's a California thing.
Code 71 if it's not attached or if something is wrong with your egr system.
You may have a resistor in it's connector or a non cali ecu.

It is there, just find it and plug it in. No reason to have the CEL on because you were lazy ;)
It will be in this area, under the runners, where the wires goes between runners 4 and 5
