People are entitled to an opinion. It's possible (AND REQUIRED) on this site for people to have differing opinions without personal attacks, calling each other names, or causing threads to go completely to shit (like this one has).
As the person who posted the "flamewar starter", I'm really irritated by by this thread.
I posted a differing opinon, I qualified it as an opinion. I didnt' at any point indicate that people who disagreed with me were "bad people"
I posted "food for thought" and left it at that.
Within a few posts we get a strawman argument and people resorting to calling each other names.
This is bad behavior, and it's not going to fly here.
If you have a differing opinion, by all means post it, but don't descend into ad hominem attacks.
Post your argument against the position, not the person.
