I can't find the thread referencing it but can anyone confirm when swapping to a 1jz motor that most of these hoses remain the same? Would be nice to have this kit for my swap.

I can't see that being the case for the hoses that would really count since you get the ic piping hoses the replacement for the accordion hose, the hoses that come off the accordion hose, pcv hoses ect

It would be like a quarter of the hoses at best

However there is the smaller kit which is less expensive so maybe worth it for that one if you can use a decent amount of them

Haven't looked but I would have thought there would have been a "name brand" kit for the 1j or a 2j one that you could use alot from?

havent had a chance to install most of these, but i did get them all measured. below are all the outer diameters, as accurately as i could manage. each hose's wall thickness is about .15 inches.

here's a list, along with some pictures:

obviously it is difficult to get a very exact measurement because the hose flexes with the calipers on, and the ends aren't perfectly circular. these figures should be fairly close and can give you an idea of what hose clamps you'll need. the only clamps i am re-using from my stock hoses are spring clamps, like those that are on all of the hoses connected to the accordion hose.

Can you tell me if possible witch numbers are the radiator hose kit, power steering hose kit and the oil cooler hose kit. Please.

Has anyone used the 2JZ-GTE kit? I would like to know if it is missing any major hoses. It looks like it may not have the pcv hoses for the valve covers.

im planning to get this kit. Its 26pcs and covers everything except air intake hose.

Does anybody have a whose diagram for all the whoses. I took it to my mechanic and the lazy bastard doesn't want to replace them . So I will have to do them by myself.
