Ive ordered a few gasket sets from Ebay before. 2/3 times I got a poor quality HG with no metal fittings around any of the passages. If you could have the seller send you a picture of the actual item.

A good gasket set to buy is buy Felpro or the OEM ones but they cost about +$150
i know people that have bought those ebay ones from $40 to $80 and they aren't great at all (like paper).

whenever i do a build i was planning on using the ebay gaskets besides the HG and i have an extra set of valve cover gaskets in the garage somewhere. most places i would probably add some rtv to be sure.

the gaskets are pretty crappy.. like the TB and stuff.. THe intake/exhaust gaksets seemed fine (like stock) it came with the turbo gaskets (both manifold to turbo and turbo to elbow) and they were nice metal gaskets (similar to stock toyota gaskets).. The Valve seals seemed similar quality to toyotas (we'll see i guess).. the rubber o rings seemed fine too, but the rest was garbage imo..

This is not something you should be skimping on... 90% of the time, you get what you pay for, so shell out the extra few dollars! Your wallet will thank you later :)

I have one ebay kit. Don't know if its that one or not. The HG is a piece of shit do not use it. Everything looks ok to me! $100 shipped to my door and it even comes with the steel turbo/exhaust gasket. That gasket alone is $85 at toyota in canada.

I got the gasket set from ebay thru Eristic Gaskets for like 60 bucks. I used the valve cover gaskets/grommets, water pump, IM, both turbo gaskets, front and rear seals, and the cork oil pan gaskets. All seem to be working fine so far. Only thing is it didnt come with TB gasket so i had to reuse the stock one. I used to oilpan gasket as well is black RTV on both sides of it and it ended up squeezing the cork gasket out of the sides of the oilpan. Its not really leaking but is a little wet with oil.. Dammit
