Dual fuel pump question

If I have dual pumps in-tank, or an external with an in-tank pump, could the lines 'T' together and tie into the fuel rail as one? Or does it need to be two separate lines?

I run 2 lines right to the Rail, I use a pair of non return valves as my 2nd pump is activated by boost.
