Post them up!. I would be nice to start a new thread and have a sticky like on SF. I think it will be very beneficial to the site and it's members. I'll post up mine later today. Have to mount them again!

Wheels: Weld Prostars, 15x8 5.5" back space
Tires: MT ET Street Radials, 275/50/15
Suspension: Bilstein Shocks, Stock springs

Issues: as you can see I have about 2" of fender gap, but with the size I got it is really wide, and I had to roll the fender lip because when I launched it would rub on the tire. Now if I would've got the 275/60/15, they would've fit and not have to roll the fenders even though the tires are taller, they are not as wide. I've seen them side by side with mine!

Someone stole my camera and sold it for crack. I'll have to buy another one this week and get a picture for you. I have the Nitto 555r on a set of metallic grey wheels.

My car with Weld Draglites, 15x8 5.5" Backspacing, and 26x8.5 Et Drags. Unfortunatley, I just had to sell this setup, so will probably go with RX-7 wheels, and radials when I buy again.

These are my Jegs wheels, 15X8s i dont remeber what offset they are, the slicks are 26x8.5, i want a taller tire but these will do for this season. Skinnes are going up front on the same style wheel within the month.

Wheels look great. Are those 15x8 w/ 5.5 bs Weld Prostars. Also are the tires 275/50/15 or 275/60/15?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt, They are the Welds that size. The tires are 275/50/15. I will probably get the 275/60/15's next time because they are actually are not as wide. These rub the outer fender just a little bit, I'm going to try and get them rolled.

I have 275/40/17's and they are as tall but not as wide. These 275/50 tires are more like a 295 tire in width.

Okay they look great. So no issues rubbing on inner fender well, just the outer part on quarter. Did you have to mod anything to get the 15s to fit, far as the brakes etc...?

I'm prob gonna get mine rolled as well. I got Greg Weld runners and will be picking up the 15x8 rears soon. I will post pics when ever I finish my mk3..lol

ryan, just roll your fenders and you'll be fine.

and slowsupra, no you dont have to modify nothing for 15's to fit our back brakes or front for that matter, you just have to buy the right offset.

15x8 = 5.5" bs
15x9 = 6" bs (depending on brand they do have this size)
15x10 = 7" bs (note 6.5" will work but will stick out a smigit)

the cheapest drag wheel set up you can do is either the rx7 wheels with 26x10.5 or 26x11.5 et streets or 255 - 275 drag radials, the other option is to use stock sawblades or 5 spokes with a 255 drag radial or a 26x10.5 et street(micket thopson)/26x9.5 quick time pro (hoosier) on them.
with et streets or slicks you'd wanna run around 15-20psi in them and a drag radial between 20-25psi in the tire and work with the right air pressure till they stop spinning much if at all.
hope this helps................. :)

No nothing needed to be done with the brakes, they bolt right up. Mine have a 5" back space, if I had the 5.5" it would not clear my shock. Right now I only have about 1/2" between the tire and the shock. Because these tires are so wide they rub a little. If I had the 275/60 they are actually not as wide by about an 1" I've seen them side by side at Speedtek and they are a little taller than the 275/50's that I have.

We do not have the same fitment as the MK4's, they have more room under their wheel well.

Yeah love MT radials, they hook great. I use 275/40/17 MT's on my 02 camaro. I run 14-15psi on my camaro and I cut 1.57-1.59s all day on stock suspension car with bolt-ons. Currently thats what I'm running my Greg Weld runners on.

I def wanna run 28in tall on the supra, I plan puting 76 dbb and fuel system sometime in June-July.
