+1mm can be done if you throat the stock seat the same amount, anymore is pushing it and you risk having a seat fall out.

So what about some 33.5 mm 2jz valves turned down to 33mm?

Do you think that will work?

Yep should work well on a regrind being longer stems if that's what you have in mind.

Yeah. Supra Rich is happy to make me a reground intake cam that has about 1mm reduced base circle. I also have BC264 cams that have a little more lift and about the same duration but have a standard base circle.

I have tried a few different cam combinations now and I have found the 7MGE likes a bigger intake cam but doesnt seem to need a bigger exhaust cam.

At present I am running the BC264 intake cam and the stock exhaust cam. This gives me good overall performance and a good quality idle.

I think the 7MGE would also benefit from larger intake valves.

A little larger TB would help also if you are doing that much work. Anybody have an idea what would be the max size TB if one was to go pretty much all out with the GE, like valves, cams, port work, larger bore, etc.?
