Dash swapping

So I am in the process of a full interior swap. I have heard that only a few small things are not compatible from pre 89 to post 89. One thing I'm looking to find out ASAP, is will the dash from an 88 turbo plug in with no problems at all into a 90 turbo body. As far as all the fuse plugs in the kick panels, and dash harness. If so then that is what is left to finish this swap.....if it doesn't go directly over with no problems at all, then I will have to start looking for a post 89 mint blue harness.

The dash itself will pop right in with no problems. You'll need your wiring from the 90 though.

a 1990 lower dash panel will not fit without swapping the steering column. You need to retain your pre 89 panel or swap steering columns AND the support for it..

You'll also need to swap the driver side air vent connector. The 88 has a different receiver than the 89+. The connector im talking about is the that goes from the air handler, then under the steering column, to the driver side air vent.
