okay, first off the whole ignition system is new, and the wiring is good. My problem is that when under boost and then go wot it cuts out bad. Mods are single 67mm turbo, precision 780cc injectors, emanange ultimate, profec b boost controller, ect. The car drives fine other than this problem, and if not wot, you can go to redline with no problems. Boost is set at 15lbs, plugs are gapped at .32(tried .26 with same result). All the coils are new, igniter is new, checked coil and injector wiring. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Is it blowing the spark out? Mine acts like this in higher boost levels at wot. Its something to do with my ignition, but I haven't located it yet.

Have you tried lower than .026? I run mine gapped to .022. I wouldn't think you'd blow it out at fifteen psi, but then again, I'm a carpenter and not a mechanic.

I was blowing mine out gapped at .032 running 15psi on my 2j with a T67. That was on my AEM and stock ignition though, now with the ViPEC and the LSx coils I'm running .035 gap and no problem.

I have boost leak tested the car and all is good. Also did a compression test and that was good as well. Is it possible that a cam sensor is causing this problem? I've unhooked one a time and the car still ran but with both unplugged the car doesn't run. It's raining tonight but i'll try and gap the plugs lower once it dries out.

have you checked your map sensor? You are saying it breaks up as soon as you get boost? or can you have boost at 90% throttle and it will be fine?

so the problem pops up when the throttle is between 3/4 and full open? have you checked your tps to make sure it's not giving a funny signal between those points? since you have an emanage it should be fairly easy to check, plug the laptop in, follow the directions in the manual to see that throttle voltage in real time. make sure the voltage goes up in a nice linear fashion as you press the gas peddle several times.

It could be his tps but what happens when you go wot is the computer goes into a closed wot loop, this would be your best spot to start troubleshooting but I don't know what would cause break up at wot... I will think about it and get back to you.

if the tps is giving a bad signal then the ecu could be going in and out of closed loop. since it's an easy check with the emanage and a laptop it should be checked if only to rule it out.
