So finally after a large amount of trial and error, the shop finally managed to get the 6 to 1 V-band to shape into what seems to be its final design. Took a while lol but it was well worth the wait and the craftsmanship and custom work put into is really impressive. It's not completely done, but should be by the end of the week. Here are some pics of the progress....Lemme know what you think.

and wg...

It's been so long since Ive swapped the motor in this car and now seeing it finally get somewhere is a good feeling. I cant wait till everything is all said and done...Ive bought the widebody fenders from shine and within the next couple months plan on having those on with some very fat Works. Car already has 650cc injectors, PT6262, 5 gal AEM meth kit, custom Vband mani, Tial WG and bov, stinger ems :(, 3 in straight pipe to apexi n1. I think thats pretty much all the good stuff.

Hopefully gonna make 500 whp. We'll see. I'll post up pics of the progress.

Certianly interesting setup. Really unique.

Is that a precision turbine housing?
How you going to run the downpipe?

Cant wait to see some finished pics.

Yea that works. haha thanks man.

And they plan on running the dp under then inlet pipe of the exhaust housing then under the manifold, its gonna have some serious bend to it lol. And yep its one of them billet wheel precisions.

Thank Emillian. But yea pretty much for the reason the V-band flows a lot better. They had a lot of issues trying to get the 6 pipes to a single collector...they are very accustomed to a 4 to 1 vband cause they do a lot of 4 cylinder hondas. Idk if i have seen a six to one V-band on a supra.

Also the placement is extremely unique and something that I doubt any other supra owner has done. The design should work better than the generic tubular mani. Its gonna look even better with the dp and dump tube. OH GOD i cant wait.

Thanks for the comments.

Here's a little update. Just some progress. Its starting to look really good. Take a look at the dump tube...makes it look like an extra cylinder haha lol. And the downpipe fits right in there perfectly. Its coming together very well.

Update: So I took my car to h20 in O.C maryland and it runs awesome....I beat on some vdubs lol. Car made 405whp and 365wtq @ 18 psi. The car sounds awesome, and runs real smooth. I eventually plan to switch my stinger out for an AEM and go for 24-25psi. It drew a lot of attention people were interested in the set up. I don't really have a scanner so I'll just take a pic of the dyno sheet and post it up lol. And I'll get some pics and vids of the car to post up.
