MR2 T3T4 ADAPTER OEM CT26-T3/T4 TURBO 35/38 WASTEGATE

Anyone use one of the ct26 to t3 adapters that bolt to the stock manifold? I don't know if I can post ebay links but there are a few up there now.

Also just want to make sure the mr2 ct26 is the same, thanks

i had a custom ct26 to t4 adapter before. Everything had to be custom of course but it wasnt bad with the stock manifold and a 61mm turbo

the mr2 ct26 is different i believe....i think the mr2 has a split in the manifold side that the supra version does not have....not sure if that would matter on the mounting though....if i remember right i found alot of stuff googleing it one time......but i do remember them being different....

yeah and it sounds like the bolts for the wastegate are different....as far as a mouting bracket they appear to be the same...dont quote me on that though.

well its cheap enough to find out, I'll let you guys know how it turns out but for $50 its a pretty good deal to be able to mount an upgraded t3 flanged turbo and not have to worry about some china manifold cracking

Depends on what t3 you go with, most t3 turbos are rated from 400-600hp. Can make more than what the ct upgrades get easy and should last a lot longer. Would need to get a custom downpipe made and oil lines for it

so could you go with a t3 thats capible of going on a fairly stock car just for reliability and maybe a faster spool ect? or is that just a big waste?

yes, but keep in mind that would depend on how big the turbo is, you could size your turbo to spool quicker (less power) or longer (more power) its all in the setup man, and the waste-gate should be optional too.
