Most will say the safe psi rane is about 13/16 psi, put's the turbo in it's most effecient area, and create's good power and extend's turbo life.

though, i've seen up to 22 psi on mine, and when im driving mine i dont mind to see 18psi.

though she seems to want to build 10 psi and climb as rpm does..

Good question, i'm trying to experiment with my 57 trim as well.
I personally haven't gone over 8psi. heh

What kind of supporters are we looking at here?

I was curious of the same thing... I am running 16-17 psi right now, I have plans to go water/meth and 20psi, perhaps I am wasting my time and money without going to a larger turbo??? Has anyone else done a 57trim with water/meth? My AEM is set at 62% DC to get the 16-17psi, so I am assuming that with my setup I have room to make more boost, but as someone else mentioned, it does not mean I will net more HP/Torque with the extra 3psi of boost?

Safe all depends on your supporting mods.

Safe with supporting mods would be something like 17-18 psi

Safe without would be at fuel cut with stick afm

What are the risks of running more than 18psi? Blowing apart? Since I am just running 92pump gas, I have set my alarm to 17psi...

I Have had bad luck with anything over 14psi. i usually keep it at that or under.. they seem to wear very fast at higher psi.. I am basing this theory off of three turbo's.

My 57 felt like all the power was at 15psi, and going higher made little to no difference.

The sweet spot is about 15-16 for that compressor. It will go higher with lower effeciency.
