ct12 highbrids ?

I'm looking at the BW EFR 7163 (I think that's the model). It's not a very big turbo but should make 550hp on a 1J. Spool will be very stock like too. Hoping to get it this spring but will see how things go.

Yeh that should be cool ! Got to do a few bits over the holidays then get it back up for more dyno time and should see close to 470 hp

Well I decided to buy some Chinese made CHRAs for the ct12as. Just going to run it for a couple years then go single turbo. These CHRAs are steel turbine wheel so won't have to worry about delamination. I have two sets of twins but both are toast.
How's your setup working so far?

I see how much were they ? Perfect yes found a boost leak so gained a bit more midrange power too [emoji1]

They are about $130USD each. How much HP are you running now?

Thats not bad so.it made 418 flywheel hp last dyno but iv made a few changes sinse then and need a retune

Actually, it's more like $145, I had a closer look. Still pretty reasonable. Was going to cost over $1300 CDN to rebuild them here and that's just to keep the turbo stock and replace to steel turbine wheel.
Are you running standalone engine management?

I'm going to use an EBC to run 13ish PSI. I have 3 inch DP so shouldn't be a problem to achieve that psi.

Yeh it's still not a bad price 1ce the last.i got my turbos done in Australia !

Yes im runing an apexi power fc from a jza80 with a tweeked performance harness.

Yehs that should be no problem thats what I originally had done b4 i done the hybrids

More up dates finally got a map with decent boost and im very happy and thats it for this car for awhile anyway [emoji23] this was achieved at 1.35 bar on pump gas and I think its the limit of the turbos as its choaking at 5600k rpm
