Yep- I bought and installed it- pretty easy to do. Hardest part was getting the coil gaps correct afterwards, not too bad. I would suggest a toyota O-ring, though. Mine was 1/2" too big.

hmm the one they sent is and even on their pic you can see it

its just like the dowel pin thats for the cam gears isn't it?

am i able to get one from toyota?

i contacted the site through email and this was the responce i got after telling them what it was

kbox provides roll pins in all of their kits because they compress as you tap them
into place and have a spring action that keeps them tight in the hole. Their kits
have been this way for years and it works perfectly.

oh and no i found out that it is not plastic its just small so it seemed like it was

Depends on your comfort level. Total time in service? Other things on it can fail you know. How's the bearing? Besides, there's always the prophylactic approach. Imho the best way to do maintenance. Then again I'm biased...
