Does anybody have a diagram or photo showing the layout of the intercooler hard pipes and which pipe goes where? I bought a set secondhand and cannot work the order out for the bottom pipes.

I have tried contacting cooleeze direct, but have had no response.

Many thanks

Are you talking about the intake pipe to the turbo and the branching off hoses?? What i have been told is that cooleeze went out of business due to their lack of speed in making supplies and customer responses.

lay them out on the floor, take a pic and post it up. I can tell you what goes where.

Forgot I had this! Larger pipe to the right connects to the turbo compressor housing.

Thanks Mate!

So, would I be correct in thinking that the smaller pipe on the right should connect the larger pipe on the right to the intercooler?

Thats the one we've been having problems with!!!!

No. If you are on a stock intercooler or have a stock like setup, the smaller one connects to the piece to the left and then to the upper IC. The turbo pipe is all by itself. If you have an issue with the compressor pipe not being long enough, that's common. I had to use an extension pipe for mine.

BTW, I think the pipes are different for 87's and late 89's. You could have the wrong set. Just a thought if your having fitment issues.

Depends on the set...

They've made different versions over the years...

For my set it was this, but check your own pipes to make sure. Also, t-bolt clamps tend to be a pain on these pipes (you'll understand when you put them on and why the worm gears fit better).

turbo outlet - 2"
joint
turbo to intercooler hardpipe inlet - 2.25"

turbo to intercooler hardpipe outlet - 2.25"
joint
intercooler inlet - 2"

intercooler outlet - 2"
joint
intercooler to fender pipe pipe inlet - 2.25"

intercooler to fender pipe pipe outlet - 2.5"
joint
fender pipe inlet - 2.5"

fender pipe outlet - 2.5"
joint
pipe with BOV flang inlet - 2.5"

pipe with BOV flange outlet - 2.5"
joint
3000 pipe replacement inlet - 2.5"

3000 pipe replacement to throttlebody - 2.75"
joint
throttle body - 2.75"

thanks that helps me out a lot. ive been running the cooleeze set for a while now and use a few worm gear clamps and a few tbolts. but im tired of broken worm gear clamps so i want to get more tbolts.
how were the tbolts a pain for you? the only problem i had was on the ic to turbo coupler and the clamp kept slipping off

My cooleze pipes neck down at certain points, unlike the ones in the picture earlier in the thread.

This necked down area and the bead they weld on to the pipe limited the area that you had to get a clamp on. The worm gears are slimmer than the t-bolts, so it was a pain but once they're on, they're on.

very true... i did notice that. especially on the lower pipes. im just tired of the worm gears breaking on me. does anyone sell thinner tbolts?
