I'm still swapping head gaskets (got the felpro in, got the head torqued currently to 100ft/lbs on 30wt oil) but I've got pics of the FelPro.. yeah, it's not a solid metal gasket like a true MHG, but the area around all 6 cylinders IS metal... I'll have pics later tonight on it!

i've run felpro head gaskets on 3 different cars from 3 different countries, as long as you prep the surfaces right they will stand up to the job. 10k miles so far on a felpro in my supra.

Tuned on stock afm/injectors? What was your A/F ratio, under part throttle boost? (where I've got a theory most of the light head-gasket-damaging-detonation is occuring, with elevated boost levels)

Yes on stock AFM/injectors. 440s are plently for stock turbo.

11.7-11.8 full throttle, Never above 12.5 under any kind of boost.

I'm going to file that little bit of info away... I'm going to do some wideband runs on the stock tune before adjusting anything, and see what Toyota deems necessary for AFR under boost....

When you torqued the stockers to 75 ft/lbs, what did you use for lubricant, or did you install them dry?

Had some of that ARP moly left over from another car...

I actually had to pull fuel out of the car. It was really rich stock.
