I have a strange noise coming from my clutch witch I thought was a bad clutch release bearing, because as soon as I touched the peadle the noise would go away. Well I have the box out now and the bearing is like brand new. What else can make a noise like a warn dry bearing?? The clutch fork has shiny patches on it could this make the noise?? Also the sleeve that goes through the bearing isn't a tight fit and can turn independantly of the bearing. What should the clearence of the bearing to sleeve be my sleeve is 49.8mm and the inside of the bearing is 50.smm.

Any advice or info is welcome

Cheers

I recommend getting every part of the assembly new from the dealer as the parts do eventually wear out, and then bad things happen (snap ring machines the lip off the hub leaving you with no clutch or even stranded)
