I finally have my car running pretty close to right, but now I am having an issue with my clutch. The car is being built with a goal of 350-400RWHP, and I have a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch that is supposed to be good up to somewhere near 575HP and 550RWTQ (just guesses but close).

I have driven the car very limitedly for a couple of months now with it having some issues with timing, and bad coils. I live a little over a mile from work, and have not driven it very much other than that. But, with the issues like they were, I did not really notice how far out the clutch was releasing. I got it all taken care of this past weekend, and immediately realized it was releasing almost all the way out. It would pull really hard to about 5-6 pounds and then would begin to slip a bit. I have now adjusted the free play in the pedal, and it will pull pretty good until about 3500 RPM and then start to slip.

My question is, Is this clutch just glazed over, or is it shot from the probably 200-300 miles I put on it out of adjustment?

If it is glazed, is there a proper repair method? Or will it wear off the glaze now that it is adjusted correctly?

Thank you for reading this, and I appreciate any help that you can give.

Don't hold me to it but I think that's a very good possibilty. I say that because I had the same syptoms on a 500 mile clutch. It was glazed and went away after a little bit.
