Hitting bottom of car? Carrier bearing. Check the rubber on it for cracks. They are $120 new and about $35 to install at a driveshaft shop.. at least what it costed me for one. Mine was doing that and wasn't visibly broken, until i really looked and saw it was cracked and split in the rubber

i have same problem. btw how do you claim the carrier bearing shot? i can push the DS up and down(vertical play)
