Centralia May 16th - Big Supra meet in Washington

In case you guys don't visit the NorthWest section, the annual Centralia meet is coming up. It's about a 3-4 hour drive from Vancouver and there should be well over 50 Supras.

hey i think ill be going to this meet. if possible we should organize something so i can meet up with a couple of you up here in bc and we could drive down there together seeing as i have no idea where im going and i tend to get lost easy haha

I'm heading down early tomorrow morning... 5am at the border.

The Everett guys and I are meeting at the 128th street park and ride.
I am leaving my house at 8am I live just south of the Skagit Valley Casino give me a ring if you want to meet with me and then travel down to Meet with the Everett guys.

If not Be careful of the overpasses cops like to sit above and then call ahead. The speed limit drops in Burlington to 60 mph and the cops like to sit just south of Mt Vernon and catch speeders. Also once you pass 300th st exit start to watch for cops sitting in the median between forested spots. PAY ATTENTION to the highway they are tearing it apart just south of Stanwood and your best bet is to stay in the far right hand lane till you get south of Arlington. Happy motoring and see you in Centralia.

Second that, both the left lanes there are about 4 inches lower and grooved, I hit them going about 80 and god damn my exhuast rattles hardcore now

everyone from bc make it back okay?...
i managed to blow up a right rear tire going 140-150 km/h on some random bump. it sucked...rims bent now. looks like im back to stock sawblades again

Made it back without problems, just a squeaky new brake rotor. Dave was saying that universal laws dictate that at least one Supra breakdown happens at each big meet or convoy. It was looking like that tradition wasn't going to happen until the ride home when 3 cars had major failures! :aigo: Damn you Dave, and your superstition!

Hey, it's not my superstition, I borrowed it from the previous generation, and I hear they borrowed it from the one before that. God only knows how far back it goes.

I made it back fine as well, had a great time and I'm glad I went.

It was a great turn out and was fun. (other than the people getting all mixed up driving down) 2 way radio next time. I forgot mine at home, damn it.

And next time, I'm not doing any upgrades the week prior to an event. Just like before Vegas, I was scrambling and losing sleep right up until the hour I had to leave; again! Crusing is fun, except when almost falling asleep at the wheel.

Yeah I got to my friends house I passed out for a few hours I couldn't make it quite home. Man I was beat. I was thinking that a meet over on Whidbey Island would be nice. either that or Mt Baker maybe a BBQ or something. any Ideas or thoughts.

Whidbey island has some scenery that has to be seen to be believed - Deception pass comes to mind. Imagine the photos you could get on that...
