  • That trick only works for removing that bolt. Use a puller to get the pulley off, safesty/easiest way.
Oh you lucky dog! easy fix! I believe Aaron sells that bolt on DM, he might sell woodruff keys too, I wonder If the 22re woodruff key is identical? If it is, could be easier to get a hold of. If you need to use the one off your other car but dont have an impact gun, get the correct size socket 1/2 inch drive, and 1/2 inch drive breaker bar, place socket/bar on crank pulley bolt (on secondary supra), put it up against the body on the battery side of engine bay, and hit the starter. Easy trick for getting that particular bolt out, works everytime if done correctly.
I'm in the process of an engine swap with my car :) Its secret squirrel until its finished, then full build post. There's nothing wrong with leaving the 7m in your car, despite what people say their still a good engine that make plenty of power, either way whatever you decide to do its going to cost a boatload of money lol. Someone on the site has "speed is like money, how fast do you want to go?" posted in their sig, hits the nail on the head. You could always buy the upgrade turbo kit from drift motion and a standalone and run that till your engine blows, then build the hell out of that engine, keep the other car for fun while yours is being revived. Just my .02
The only thing it would affect is accesories and water pump. I would be worried about the water pump not working while driving. Did you start building your other engine yet?
Did it strip the woodruff key? Have some look under the hood while you crank it over to make sure crank pulley is turning
Hey! summers around the corner, thinkin about takin a cruise to the beach? Last time i went out there i rolled up on 2 black mkV's and a black MR2, was nice to drive along with fellow supra owners. Haven't had the time to start my swap yet, but i have a HUGE stack of parts lol.
the supras still purrin like a kitten, ive put just under 12,000 miles on it since last july lol. Totally understand about hangin on to the parts car, stuff like that is hard to find in wa. Have junkyards around here with a few n/a's i've been robbin parts off of. just lookin for some more power under the hood, now that i have this this car i picked up a taste for speed lol and its not fast enough. And i just finished my 87 pickup so i have another sweet yota to drive while the supra goes under serious reconstruction. If your ever headin down to the beach hit me up i know alllll the best cruisin roads.
hey i was wondering if you still had that turbo parts car and wanted to sell the engine???
the 89 is my first supra, ive wanted one since i saw Paul walker and Vin diesel throw the roof off that orange mk4 and blow the doors off a Ferrari in the fast and the furious!!! i traded a toyota pickup for my mk3, driving up to get the mk3 i was kinda on edge cuz i didnt know what to expect and then i got to the dudes place and as soon as i walked around to the front of the car i was like OMG it looks like a poor mans Porsche!!!! the smile has not left my face since i got in the car and i've had it for a few weeks now lol
thank you for being a member u have what i have and it is the love for ur mk3 7mgte &7mge i like how the mk4 look but i like the old school look.
