Removal is easy as pie, just 4 bolts, and unplug the winshield squirters, and remove the hood struts..

installation is a bit tougher as you need to align it, but it's the same 4 bolts..

as for the hood struts, you can no longer use them unless you use just 1, and it's absolutely positively blown. I used a single 17-year old blown strut for my hood, and it was STILL too strong, and buckled and creaked my hood when i tried to shut it, so I grabbed a random hood prop off another car at the junkyard and use that..

My worry about two layer cf targa would be the structural strength, cf targa is probably gonna be pretty flexible (in relative terms). The normal targa is heavy because it supports the car a lot. I would just be afraid with the cf part the body would flex like it does with the targa off, and that is on thing I can't stand.
