I'm going to be upgrading my fuel lines to -6. Will the stock fuel filter be a restriction? I want to know if I can use the stock fuel filter or do I need to use an aftermarket one?

^ thats more of a "should i replace my fuel filter?" kinda thing.

If your channing the lines from tank to rail you can use inline filters. But iirc stock fuel lines are about the size of -6an hose which is 3/8th hose.

I think the stock lines out of the tank are actually equivalent to -5. I've run 568 rwhp through the stock filter for years - through the stock lines out of the tank to the fuel filter, too. -6 from there forward.

Rust proof doesn't mean much when the filter is supposed to catch the very fine particles, including rust from the tank for those in the parts of the country controlled by the UAW.
