Can I fit 275's on MK4TT wheels?

I searched and came up short, I was wondering if i can fit 275's on my mk4TT wheels without hitting the shock.

That's the recommended width for that rim (the rears) and mildly lowered MK3's can run that combo with no problem. And you can have an extremely low ride and fit them as long as you fix them camber.

As everyone stated, for the rears that's fine. Not the front's though. I wouldn't go any wider than 245's on the 8" wide front rims. Anything larger and you're not using the full potential of the tire.

The proper stagger setup for these rims with that rear width is:

275/40/17 Rear
245/45/17 Front

Reasons are that these are the perfect widths for those rim widths, and the height for these two size/profile combination is within 1/10th of an inch of each other.
