I picked these up right quick of SF. I am not sure if it is excessive to the point that the timing belt would slip. I am kind of annoyed, but it was an impulse buy so I had it coming I guess. Now I know why they only show the front and back in all the 4 sale threads I have ever seen.

Thanks peoples

Yup HKS. I'd think it's cuz they are aluminum that they wear like this the stock ones would probably be the same millions of miles later. So does anyone have input as to whether this is a no go via belt slipping on the teeth???

I am guessing it is normal to wear down cuz they are alloy not steel, but I am just curious as how much is slipping much.

lagged you are indeed smokin way more one should. If they are worn too much, I will just toss them on ebay at what I paid.

Someone with genuine experiential knowledge please. I really would like to keep them if they are still good.

I don't think I have any recourse though ... all the description said was used for one year. I am not happy.

I should have seen it coming

Cheers,

Jago

I come from a land down under
It was a known issue with those Pullies, there were a bunch of posts about them on SF.

Looks like they were only anodised and not hard anodised like they should have been.

I just posted feedback on SF and filed dispute then escalated to a claim with PP.

I hate disputes. . . they take forever. And he's probably gonna be a pain and just let it ride until the 30 days are up. [edit] I thought bout it right quick. My CC company will work a lot faster. I'll call tomorrow.

Again thanks for the input IJ.
