What do you guys use to hook up the maft-pro to your laptops?

9-Pin-Female Serial cable to USB? Did you need any drivers for that to work?

Also is there an extension for the harness wires? The ones that were supplied to it are kind of short.

i use a serial -> USB cable adaptor, and it's plenty long. i got it from radioshack, and it comes with a disk to upload onto your computer.

be sure you use the sewell adapter. people have had problems using belkin and others.
