Finally got the car lowered, KYB shocks on Eibach springs. I know alot of you wanted pics, so here are some quick ones I shot. The shot is filthy today, but I know you guys wanted to see the results, so here you go!

I am deffinately going with this setup. How is the ride? and nice corvette

I have basically the same setup. Eibach Springs. The only thing I can say is be careful of potholes and speed bumps. Sometimes when I go over a railroad track that is not smooth I can feel the front bottom out, its a bit scary and you always remember to be careful around them. The ride is a little rougher then stock. My fathers Supra is 100% stock same year and his ride feels softer. I enjoy the ride better in myne, and when I trade with him he does not want to trade back.. hehe

I think it looks alot better this way.

how does it ride.. the more i drive my 87 the more i hate the eibachs.. i could be teh dead tems shocks, but seems to soft, but on a big bump its hard.. I dont like hte incosistancy.... i think i want a linear spring rate instead..

The ride is absolutely amazing, so smooth on the highway, I'm thinking it's a bit on the soft side, but it's alot stiffer than stock, that's for sure. Eibachs + KYB's is the perfect combo.

LOL you kidding me? Raw pics are hideous, especially with my crappy digital camera, I raised the contrast by 2-3.

-Matt
then start with the raw, raise the contrast on the car but have anything from the fenders down deselected...

I seriously cant see anything. you have to remember my color issues lol

wow, your car is beautiful! What kind of muffler is that?
Thanks, it's actually a Flo-Pro muffler, I hate it, lol. It's very old and worn out, new muffler is going on soon, hopefully the MR 2.5" N1 replica if things work out as planned.

from what i hear.
but thats all new to me.
Yes sir, an alignment should be done after all suspension work is done. I'm gonna have it done Sunday after I get my new rack and pinion put in.

Whatever you do, don't go back to stock shocks, especially with lowering springs. The springs will blow soon after, so they'll have to be replaced. Do shocks + springs at the same time if money allows you to do so, so much better in the long run. I spent $117 shipped for my brand new KYB GR2's, I'll give you the link if you wish.
