hey all. i'm finally replacing the shitty boost controller that came with the car for a greddy profec b spec ii. :)
i'm sure i'll figure out how to adjust it at some point, lol, but i do have a question...
i'm missing the small filter that goes on the vacuum line to the main unit. will i be ok using the controller without it until i can find one?
thanks in advance.......

No, once you get dirt in there it's screwed. Just buy a filter. They're $6.

Ask on how to use it. The directions are not real good. I found directions from the DSM group based on trial and error. For example, you don't set boost in PSI or Kpa. It is done as a duty cycle. And if you put the display in psi, 14.7 or 1 bar is displayed as 147. No decimal point.

ok guys, one more question..... when i connect the power wire to a 12v constant the controller stays lit up all the time. is this going to drain my battery?
if i connect it to a switched ignition wire, it will lose the memory every time i shut the car off.

there's only 2 wires on the controller. one black and one red. if i hook it up to a switched wire the memory will erase whenever i shut off the car.
