What are people using to block the cold start injector port on the fuel rail?

Its a M12 x 1.25 thread and its hard to find anything at all in that thread decent looking let alone the right length

I have emailed ARP to see if they can make a custom bolt but there must be an easier way

I used a transmission Pan drain bolt M12x1.25 was like 3.00 at the local auto parts store. I used that with a copper sealant washer! Works great!

Wow was that stainless? Got a pic.

With all the detail work I have been doing trying to find something that will not look out of place

I can't find a close up pic, But you can see it in these two pics.. It fit perfectly and didn't sink into the rail at all maybe 1-2mm Im sure with your polishing skills you could make it blend right in :)

Thanks for the pic, depending on what its made of might not be able to polish it

I have also contacted ARP about making that and a few other custom bolts but we will see what comes of that

I cant find a button head capscrew in the right size though, they dont do metric fine in stainless let alone that size

Button head was my first idea too but that died when I tried to get one

Welding is an option but I didnt think finding a fastener would be so hard lol. Maybe I will put a fuel pressure gauge in the bay running from that port. The rail is on the car now but no biggie to pull off I guess

Those ARPs are too long unfortunately, I hope they get back to me about a custom one, I wanted some more to hold the front bumper support on too

One other idea is a metric to An adapter and then a screw on AN Cap but thats not so elegant a solution

Ian if you know where to get a button head in the right size let me know!

Good idea

But could only find long Zinc and it was ugly

I want my stainless daminit!

What else could I do with that port, might be easier to find a use for it lol

Maybe a CNC fuel rail would be nice ....

I could do that and use a speedflow blue anodised banjo bolt, I thought of that initally too, probably the best way to go

I need my machinist to make a couple other things for me so may have to do this at the same time, though he has not set up his new shop yet :-(
