I've been racking my brain and looking around though pages of dyno sheets on here, club na-t and supraforums. I'm shooting for 500 on the ground at the absolute max on pump gas on a na-t with a tt hg. A broad power band with minimal spool is key for me. I'm in between the T4 Gt35R, a 61mm, a 67mm, or a Holset HX40. Anyone have an experience with these set ups? Any constructive info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm currently building a hx40 2jzgte on a mk3, shooting for 500hp and hoping for really fast spool. Curious if anyone else has used the hx40 on a 2jz as well.

6262 6266 6466. Similarly sized Borg Warners S366? HX40. GT35. Any of these should work fine.

I have a 6262 .68 t4 on my 1J. Seeing full boost sub 4k currently. Would probably be 3500ish on a 2J.

Ran a hy35 on a 2jz and put down 450hp, full spool by 3k. I'm sure the hx40 will come on a little slower but put down more at lower boost levels. Pick the right one though (7 blade, billet wheel) and it will probably spool almost as fast.

gt35r is a fair price, comes in kits and is fast spool plus makes a good amount of hp, I seen one locally where I'm from. but I hear a 6262 with a QSV is ludicris.
