Ball joints - how much grease?

Might be a stupid question...but how much grease should you pump
in when greasing a brand new ball joint? Surely if you over-fill the joint it could damage dust seals/boots. I took my new ball joints into an auto shop for them to
grease but it doesn't feel like there is a whole lot in there. The joint should be tight to
move being brand new I guess but I don't want to
be changing them again prematurely because they are underlubricated.

Cheers

Sorry to thread jack but what is the best way to remove the bottom front ball joint and replace with a new one? I've tried looking for tutorials but couldn't find it anywhere. I need to replace mine ASAP :(

Sorry I don't have the link to the thread to cite my source, but this if the notes I found when replacing mine...
ball joint
Moog AMGK9521 - Moog Ball Joints - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOG-K9521/ - $56.00
http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-lowerballjointmk3.php $59.00

1. Jack up the car, and put on jack stands
2. Pull out the cotter pin
3. Loosen castle nut, and leave it halfway threaded on. This is to keep the lower arm from popping down uncontrolled.
4. After you loosen the castle nut the tapered bolt might pop on its own from the pressure from the spring, or you might have to hit the spindle with a large hammer on the area around the taper bolt. Edit: Rent a pickle fork.
5. After it pops loose, take the castle nut off. Watch out, the arm will spring down some.
6. Remove the 3 bolts holding the ball joint on.
7. Attach new ball joint to the lower arm.
8. Jack lower arm up while putting tapered bolt into the spindle. Jack it up until you have it all the way in.
9. Reinstall castle nut, torquing to 92 ft*lbs. If the hole for the cotter pin does not line up, tighten some more until it does.
10. Install new cotter pin.
Lower jack, you are done.

remove wheel
remove the pins that hold the caliper to the bracket
pull off caliper, dont let it hang by the hose.
use a caliper tool to push the piston back in the bore (get this from a auto parts store, they will know what you mean)
put on new pads
lube pins with anti sieze
install wheel.

rinse and repete for other side.

make sure you TEST YOUR BRAKES BEFORE GOING FAST!
