SO, I get off school, and gett out of the parking lot on the main road. I'm just cruising along when BAM!!!, wlll more of a whoosh, and i look up and theres no roof :3d_frown: , so i check in my rear view and its still in the air, and some new civic is avoiding it, pretty well I might add, It seems to be fine accept for a big but oddly unnoticable dent on the top. The was my most hardcore expierience of the week.

Well from what I'm guess it was never tightened, which is weird, cause i thought I drove to school with the top on. I don't know whatever it was, it was bad on my part.
That sux but I honestly would love to see this happen in person just not to myself. Im not specifically picking on supra either, cuz it happening to a vette would be great
Now everyone is going to check their top when they get in their car today, I know I am.. .and I thought it sucked that myne leaks in the rain (and its rained here every day for the last week!)

If your targa came loose over time it's probably because you didn't put it on on a completely level surface. That or your cars frame is fubared.
how fast were you going when it flew off? cuz in the summer i always have the targa down and then i just rest it on top when i park. when i drive 5 miles an hour you can feel and hear it if its unbolted.
Even know it suck ass when it happens.........it's cool as shit watching as it happens. There it goes, and there's not a thing you can do.....now just watch the acrobat show til it's over. Takes like 3 minutes it seems. By the time your brain computes WTF, it's too late
