What tranny cooler are you installing? -8 lines are a better choice in terms of flow to the cooler (assuming it's got 1/2" NPT inlet/outlets).

-6 lines will work...the ATF circuit is bypass system, so no fluid restriction issues to the tranny.

Excellent cooler.
The -6 lines will just restrict flow to the cooler a bit...I have a tendency to go oversize though ;)

Did I see a filter head in the other thread for ATF in your cooler circuit?
What filter?

You've been paying attention ;)
Another excellent choice...that filter will go 15K easy on ATF.

The only issue you *may have* is with the block adapter inteferring with the turbo/IC pipes. I have the same one you do and it's fine...a few guys have had to go with a side port block adapter though.

It interferes .... I can't put a 90 bend on the return port, Going to try a 45 bend to see if that will clear it gotta order it though.

Any tips on tightening it? they might both fit if i can get it to turn parallel with the ground

Would work for sure, but don't want to put a straight 90 bend on it... the whole restriction to flow thing

You could play the loosen NA stud game and spin till it is...that what I did, and the ports are parallel to the ground, Or you could use this:

I wouldn't use a hard 90 fitting like that...you are correct, it's as restrictive as 10' of hose. ;)
