Auto trans problem.

Blitz dual spec-R
Ebay DDP
Tanabe Hyper M.

Stock auto trans.

Runs great!

So this seems to happen mostly when its warm outside and the trans is in operating temp.

Take my foot off the GO pedal and let the rpms drop.
Goes down to say 1800 and then it jumps up to 2400 and drops again, this continues for about 4-6 times. Doesent happen every time but it sure is pretty annoying.

Any ideas folks?

I had one doing that a few years ago.
Not wanting to tear into it, I just had the filter & fluid changed.
All weirdness went away........

And while you have the pan off to change the filter,
you could shim the accumulator springs,
and dial the pressure up to get better performance out of it.

So you think its in the trans not the engine/ecu.

I`ll check for codes tomorrow and get back.

Sounds more like a dirty ICS or TPS adjustment.
