It's amazing alright...how much air it traps and holds in a short period. Looks almost like the emulsion from a BHG.

It's also amazing how a snake oil becomes "highly recommended"...no offense, but parts guys are right behind mechanics in disseminating the myths and misinformation concerning lubricants. Put it in your tranny if you wish, no one's stopping you. It will be a cold day in hell before I will ever put Lucas in my oil, tranny, or LSD. ;)

I went to that site, and wow.... all I can say

Yep...eye watering huh ;)

Knowlwdge is a wonderful thing if applied correctly...not to go off topic, but you also may want to read this for starters...read the links at the bottom too:

Judging from the OP's description of the fluid, a flush/filter cleaning is in order. Hope he lets us know what effect it has.

Installing a full flow or by-pass filter before the tranny fluid gets to the cooler will keep the ATF nice and clean for a long time.

ok so the tranny is fine, the fluid was kinda dirty though..

he said that there is a bearing on /near the drive shaft, the central bearing, i think he said. Well the rubber grommet is tearing apart, and he said the jerkieness is that think bumping up and down because the seal is coming off.
W/ labor and parts(i cant just get the seal i have to get the whole bearing) its almost 400$

which is ok, its a lot less than a tranny.

i just put lucas oil stabilizer in the other day... is that bad too??

Take a look at the link I posed to Lucas and make your own decision.

If the fluid is old/dirty...it's time for a filter clean/flush.
