I'm converting my 89 mk3 from auto to manual here's my parts list.

clutch master cylinder
slave cylinder
clutch line
clutch pedal
manual brake pedal

I have the trany and drive line, is there anything else I need to do for this conversion?

spigot bearing that goes into your crank.. its just a standard ballbearing that keeps the gearbox shaft from moving around to much. for a 7m the bearing number is 6201-2rsj i used this for a W58 i dont think theres any difference if its a R154 tho but dont hold me to that. plus theyre only a couple bucks.

there is also wiring to do and then you have your shifter shift boot rubber shift boots as well and your interior shift boot there is also a bunch of washers spacers and springs for the clutch and throwout bearing. also the drivers side I believe transmtition to engine brace is different than the auto one as well. drive line is different as well. that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

the wiring part, whats diffrent that i should know about before doing the conversion? the 7M and manual trany i'm getting is comming with it's own harness. when i drop the engine and trany, the wiring is pre-done on the engine and trany to begin with so i should be able to just plug the ECU right up for that right? is there anything special past that point with the wiring that i should know?

if you have the wiring harnesses then there shouldn't be any I'm not positive on that aspect cause I used the auto wiring harness and the auto ecu and just wired in a clutch switch and the revers lights and abs and all that so I'm not sure about the wiring then.
