Anyone using a MSD DIS4

Like the title says, I am wondering if anyone has successfully used a DIS4, if you were able to change the rev limit, and if the 2 step worked. I would also like to know if there was a more powerfull spark.

I ran MSD's Dis Coils and the thing will fire plugs in a cup of oil.

Never tried the other functions.

Not that I noticed!
Had an injector die on the dyno awhile back and it burnt a hole through a piston and the blowby pumped 2 qt's of Oil into the IC/intake and it drove the 50 Km's home no probs.

Still wondering if the 2-step works with the stock ECU.

Doesn't the DIS4 only have 4 channels? How would that work on the JZ COP setup?

Waste spark, unless you use two DIS-4's.

^ That's how I did mine

You can use 1xDis4 and 1x Dis2 to get the 6 channels but if you're firing them using the stock Ignitor 1x Dis4 in Waste fire mode makes more sense as the MSD hardware is HUGE and it's hard to find room for 2 boxes.

I'm thinking about going this route soon, I'm assuming you need to use two of the adapters to make the DIS-4 work with the JZ?
