Cant say for sure if you are doing something wrong with emachineshop or not, but I can tell you that they are very expensive unless you start doing production or large quantity runs.

seach in yahoo or google and you should be able to find a local shot to you that could do it for you especially being in Philly....

emachine tends to be very pricey, but you are paying for tooling and setup costs. Great if you're doing 100 pieces (increase the quantity of them and note that you can probably do 15-20 sets for the same money or close to it). A local shop that's slow or between jobs may be willing to take it on for fairly little money.

I work at a CNC shop, and I can prototype something like that pretty easily, but definetly need dimensions and what kind of material you want. I'm sure you could find someone closer though.

holy shit...this barely comes up now?! we HAD a CNC, laithe (sp?) a mill and even a plasma cam! but its all gone now, took up too much space so we tossed it out!

Lathe.

From the looks of it it'll be a two operation piece, and the slot on the outside will be a real PITA with automation, but it can be done with just a mill.
