Anyone familiar with the S2 intercooler air guide?

I found the part in the link below and I like it a lot but I haven't seen it on any of the cars on here. Does anyone have one, and does anyone know if it would work in a pre-89 bumper? I emailed the website but they clearly just import parts and don't bother to learn anything about them.

Edit: In the past day or so they have added a note that you have to cut your bumper to install it. If thats the case I guess it will work on just about anything!

I've never seen the S2 guide on any cars here either :biglaugh:

It will not work on a pre-89 bumper. Fitment on 89+ bumpers is already hokey as is. Definitely not a bolt-on piece.

That said, competent work with body moulding and fiberglass will get it to mount nicely, but not without a lot of modification.

Weird setup, and kind of pointless considering the price when you could go out and buy an entire aftermarket front bumper that's designed to flow air to the intercooler for the same or less with no sketchy modding.

Yeah, my goal is to keep my car as low key as possible. I'm not going for completely stock but I don't want to run around with a body kit and huge wing screaming, "I have 500+ hp!". I want any mods I make to be functional and not just cosmetic. That thing looks like too big of a pain though. Are there any aftermarket front bumpers that are designed to flow more air and look like they could have come on the car that you guys are aware of? Are there any options for modifying the stock one?

The Greddy style front bumper would be the cleanest that I'm aware of that has a fair amount of flow intercooler. You can get replica's for alot cheaper but here's the real deal (ignore the wing): http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota/1986_1992_supra/exterior/body_kits/greddy/gred00074955.html

And there's also the turbo A vent if you did some modding and mounted it flush so that it blends in better.
