Anyone ever see a code 11 before?

My car is running great, but today it threw a code I've never seen before - a code 11. Threw a hard CEL and that's the only code coming up.

Its also not listed in an toyota supra manual I have access to... any ideas?

Its an '87 Turbo 5-spd - an early early 87 turbo 5-spd, 8/86 production date.

Check your CPS by shaking it's harness and clip hard while the car is running and see if the car dies or almost dies. I just had this code and soldered the CPS right on to my main harness and the code went away and I'm having no symptoms like before.

Thanks, Code 11 wasn't listed in my hardcopy 1988 TSRM, I didn't realize it was on cygnus.

I just rewired my CPS with a new molex harness, I'm no n00b to that problem as it went bad on the last harness I had in the car and I just hardwired it.

molex harness?
I like to think I was the pioneer for this "hack". If you've got an engine bay to eat off of, this probably isn't for you.

Basically, I'm a computer geek, I also know my wiring and so on and so forth. Well, I needed to replace my CPS harness with something that was easy to get, cheap, simple, etc. So, I went with a molex connector.

It was never meant for engine bay temps/use however it seems to be holding up perfectly. Since I installed it, I've not had a single CPS related issue and things are working perfect. Like I said, it's more of a hack because it's not gorgeous, but it's simple and it works.

The easiest thing to do, is to hop over to Radio Shack and pick up a 4 wire molex extension (Not a T adapter, the extension). I think it's like $2, and this will give you the male and female sides, as well as a decent amount of wire (you'll want to trim it to fit). Then you start cutting, soldering, and shrink tubing the older CPS wires to the new plugs, and away you go.

I had to replace the connector for my O2 sensor.
I started with a trailer wiring harness connectors, weather proof.
Then I found another WPak that would work very well
but ended up finding the perfect Molex replacement - MX150 sealed connectors - and if you get the right part numbers you can order a Free Sample of everything you need, both connectors and male and female pins :)

I come from a land down under
I've found a local supplier for Deutsche connectors, they come in 1,2,3,4,6,8 pin configuration.

My MSD Cdi's use 8 pin's and I've ordered a bunch to tidy up the wiring on my car.
