We ran into some issues before when we made 462 rwhp/399 rwtq at 17 psi on Willie R's 91 Supra. I had not had a 7m that the torque was that far off from the horsepower before. So I started looking for problems.
Specs on the car were a stock engine internally including a new style Toyota headgasket torqued to 75 ft/lbs, PT67 with a .68 p trim, vpc/s-afc, with 680's and 1 Wal-bro pump and an afpr. We have 3 inch to a 3.5 catback system on the car with a 4 inch intake and 2.5 inch IC piping. The car also has an SS Autochrome header and Stone Mountain HKS 40 mm knock off gate on it.
We had issues with the Greddy type S BOV on the car so we installed a TurboXS RFL valve and decided to dyno again to see if any progress was made. First thing we noticed was an inability to boost past 11 psi where the car made 406 rwhp and low to mid 300's on torque with a sub 10.0 a/f ratio. Two runs later it was worse. On the fourth run the wastegate finally gave up and stuck open( thank god ). I put my HKS 40 mm gate on the car while it was sitting on the dyno and the first trial run at 7 psi the car made 320 rwhp/305 rwtq. Next runs at 14 psi made 430 rwhp/410 rwtq and at 18 psi made 489 rwhp/450 rwtq. The final push at 20 psi netted us 507 rwhp/465 rwtq with a 12.0 to 12.5 a/f. We then dropped it back down for 16 psi with an 11.2 a/f for street driving and made 450 rwhp/440 rwtq. These runs were made with a 50/50 mix of 93 and 110 octane.
The printer ran out of ink so I'll post sheets in the beginning of next week. Congrats to Willie.

With this set up you get full boost by 4600 rpm, spool starts at 3500 rpm. You are over 500 rwhp at 5500 rpm and the rev limit on this car is 6400 rpm. Peak torque is at 4600 rpm and then it holds over 400 rwtq until redline.

congrats again man!
im sure willie is excited about the car and to think it has a lot more in reserve is even that more impressive.
i have seen the car in person and i must say the pics do it no justice. this car is absolutely flawless! both the work sean has done and the car itself inside and out.

on a side note- what about that white 200 behind it? i heard its a real beast too. had to have 8 straps to hold it on the dyno?

The car has been over 360 rwhp for 4 years now at least and 450 for about 600 to 1000 miles. I appreciate all the compliments and now were going to cut loose a high horsepower automatic car. Stay tuned for that one.

Dave, don't make me have to unleash the 200. The EPA has warned you about what happens when that thing comes out. It is 72 rwhp of pure ozone depleting fury!
