Animazement 2010 (Lots of pics, DSL not welcome XD)

I wanted to post this up yesterday, but I drank too much and still had to work on Monday XD
Animazement is held every memorial day at the convention center in Downtown Raleigh. It was held in Durham, but due to increased attendance, was moved to Raleigh starting last year. I've gone every year since 04 and have drunk and spent far more than I should have ^_^

Looks like many great costumes, though you can't quite tell the level of detail from the size/res of those pics. That might be a good or bad thing, depending on the costume, or who is wearing it.

It's mostly Anime in general, but there's no rule that you can't come as something else. Just not common. There were people who dressed up as tetris blocks, Jessica Rabbit from "Who framed Roger Rabbit". So there's no guideline, you don't have to go as anything really. Just having fun spending too much money and drinking XD

No one would mind if you didn't go as a character. there's lots to do. oogle the pretty people, watch old and new anime's in screen rooms, buy loads of stuff from the dealers room and artist alley, buy overpriced food, take craploads of pictures, there are amv contests to watch, cosplay contests to watch, dances at night with stoner kids XD
live j-pop bands and much more that I can't remember at the moment. XD

Yes, my friend took his picture, we combined what we had together at the end. He comes every year and dresses up as such every year. A true statement to say the least, but if everyone had to follow that rule, there wouldn't be a lot of people cosplaying there or in the world in general. People watch anime because the characters are usually quite flawless. while as people we are not. its a high expectation to meet. I only weight 138 lbs but there's' a ton of characters I couldn't do if i wanted too. XD

To plot the compressor operating point, first calculate airflow:

· Wa = Airflowactual (lb/min)
· HP = Horsepower Target (flywheel)
· = Air/Fuel Ratio
· = Brake Specific Fuel Consumption ( ) ÷ 60 (to convert from hours to minutes)
