So I am in the planning stages of converting to a 2JZ with automatic transmission. Being that the A340 variants aren't known for holding power I am considering other alternatives. Am particularly interested in the GM 4L60. Has anyone had any experience installing this into the MKIII body. I have seen/heard of the TH350/400 swaps and the 4L60 has a similar bell housing size so it shouldn't be an issue. Just wondering if it has been successfully done and what the final outcome was.
