Um... I may have had shortest running M Head gasket on a stock engine... 19 hours damn blow out between pistons...

Now you know why I went down a "different" engine for the MA61 :icon_bigg

Well both of those compressor wheels are off diesels! DOH! guess i'll save up get some of lipp's lovely work, till then back on with the stocker!

16 days till payday!!!!!

next weekend I'll start geting all the parts cleaned up ready for re-install!

Thought I Best do an Ian style spec / to-do list...

  • 7M-GTE block decked and bored - Soon
  • ARP main studs - Obtained
  • Stock rods, preped with ARP bolts - Obtained
  • Ross pistons - Ordering...
  • Cometic metal head gasket - Obtained
  • ARP Head studs - Obtained
  • Stock Turbo - later on a Lipp sexy bolt on??
  • Stock Intercooler - later on maybe?
  • Wolf 3D v4+ Stand alone ECU - Obtained
  • Bosch 040 motorsport fuel pump - Obtained
  • Stock Exhaust - soon 3inch turbo -> cat -> 2x2.5 mufflers -> twin inlet outlet2.5 muffler (too look like stock)
  • Full flow Oil cooler and remote filter - Deleted old crap
  • JZA80 Brakes + 17's - yet to be obtained
  • Stock A3040le auto trans - To be shift kitted, line pressure upped and a large trans cooler fitted
General major Service / age related / good practice to replace items:

  • Bearings
  • Water Pump
  • Cam Belt + Tensioner
  • Plugs
  • Leads
  • All gaskets and seals
Aim: Stock-ish looking, improved Go, Stop, Corner and Fuel economy.

Any progress?... I wonder where that Wolf ECU Orginated from ;)
Fuel Economy! Lets have one 5ME burn at the cross (Oh yeah... that's my area)
