can someone please post some close up pics of the lex afm in the car. and how to install correctly.

btw....where did you guys get your lex afm? from the dealer? can i get one at the junk yard. how much does it cost?

i think the part you want IS the housing? the housing is the part that allows for 25% more air unmeasured by AFM.

but yeah i think the lexus electronics fit the stock 7mgt housing anyway if thats not what u wanted.

i got mine from a parts car :p

You can buy it from a dealer, you can get it from a junker. It doesn't look any different then the stock AFM really besides its dimensions.

You want the housing, re-use the stock electronics.

It is physically bigger in size. Staring at one in an engine bay, it would take an expert to tell the difference without paying attention to the details.

Also, for future reference, don't install a Lexus AFM on your car without getting something with a bit more fuel delivery...perhaps 550cc Injectors. ;)

Good luck on your search. They pop up for sale all the time.

And it doesn't let 25% more unmetered air in. It is metered, but the calibration is for more air. Becareful with that adjustment screw. Unless that is what you are talking about. It will let air around the meter raising fuel cut, and telling the ECU you are taking in less air than what you are.

Nice pics Big A.
