OKAY..."deep breath" here we go. FIRST and FOREMOST before i began to attempt to start typing all of this out i just wanted to say ahead of time yes i know some of the ways i did parts of my build are not to standard "youll see what i mean later", but when it comes down to it, its my car, my parts and i do the build my way with the tools that i have.

also i want to give a HUGE thanks to a few of the people that have really helped me out so far with this build.

my girl RUBY for putting up with my bitching and spending habits

jesus "Supraman84" for always letting me go back and forth from his car to mine letting me look to make sure all the hoses are connected correctly, t- fittings, ect. and for always helping me out on the car when i needed it.

david "defi" for the constant help on the supra whenever i make a call.

"ryeno" for the outstanding job and extremely quick time on converting my harness.

First a little history about the car. I originally bought it while i was still stationed in fort lewis "tacoma", washington in 2009ish. the car started out as a NA 5speed, hardtop wingless, that the dealership (infiniti of tacoma) called it an eye sore and had it parked in the back where noone could see it. it was painted in a chameleon color (blue, purple, green) with a cracked bomex primored front bumper. it was missing two dash panels, a lock on the drivers side door, and the inside passenger door handel bezel. When i first pulled into the dealership there were close to 50 people standing around it waiting to test drive it. so i quickly took a good look around it inside and out and went ahead and went inside and told them that i would take it, well after about two hours waiting on people to finish test driving the car, some of the people decided that they wanted to buy it. well i quickly informed them that i had already started my paper work and had already signed for the vehicle before i had even sat in the car. so needless to say i just cut 50 people off from buying my supra. after a year in washington i soon got orders to fort carson Colorado where i am still at today, and where the build is being taken place.

OKAY now that everyone is up to speed, lets begin the build.

in December of 2010 i got orders to deploy again for january time frame. so as most would do i started driving my car as much as possible before i left. well one late night when i was headed to a meet with another supra friend of mine jesus. yes his name really is jesus. my clutch had decided to give out, thus i damn there had to idle down hill for a few miles to get it back on post. well from there i had told my girl ruby that i could either buy a new clutch for my NA or i could save the money for my swap that i was eventually going to do reguardless ;) well needless to say she bought it and said that i could go ahead with the swap. so knowing that i was getting ready to leave in a few weeks i quickly pulled the old motor and tranny out and started prepping the engine bay for paint.

soon after, the supra went in storage for about 8 months.

p1791715_1.jpg

Now while i was deployed and the tax free money was coming agin i took it upon myself to start ordering a ton of parts for the car. a little over 15K to be exact. here is just a few pics of some of the items that i had purchased.

after coming back from deployment i quickly began to work on my car, starting off with the entire rear subframe(differential, axles, ect) with the help of david "DEFI".

p1791716_9.jpg

By this time i had just gotten done pulling my old NA engine harness off the old motor and the JDM harness off the new motor. and sent it off to "ryeno" to have it converted.

Now it was time for some of the fun stuff. or so i thought. before anything else gets said, i just want to give some props to the members that has pulled off the twins while the motor was still in the car because i had a hell of a time with the motor out and sitting on a pallet. so as you can see i started taking the motor apart and cleaning it up as i went.

ALRIGHT onto the more fun stuff. well i finally manage to get the guys over to help out due to the fact i think they knew that i would try to go ahead and put the motor in by myself if they didnt show. got the clutch installed and the tranny mounted up and needless to say the drop in was fairly easy. took a few minutes to guide the shifter underneith the car without scratching anything as well as align up the two motor mounts.

OKAY well here we are again with another day of installing parts. i actually got alot done over the past three days. i had some used but new to me rims come in a few weeks ago as well as a full set of TT brakes that i got a really good deal on come in, but i couldnt install the rims until i ordered some arp extended studs and spacers in order for the rim to clear the caliper. so thats what i did and here they are.

also as you can see from the rear tire size that the rear quarter panels will need to be rolled and pulled in the near future. i know alot of people dont like the aggressive stance but to me it looks good. also from the pictures you can see that the car is no longer wingless.

p1791722_6.jpg

p1791722_7.jpg

p1791722_8.jpg

After about a month of waiting i had also had my radiator come in a well as my oil feed and return kit that i had ordered from boost logic. the oil kit is a decent kit if you have a t4 turbo. i on the other hand had to do ALOT of drilling in order to have the holes line up on my T6 frame. as you can see from the pictures that i got the lower hard pipe radiator hose installed but the guy i had order the top one failed to tell me that he had cut the top hard pipe so i currently have a new rubber replacement one coming in the mail.

p1791722_9.jpg

p1791722_10.jpg

i also installed my intercooler and did a quick mockup on the IC pipes.(none of the blue couplers will stay there)

p1791722_11.jpg

and finally i had made a little bracket and guage setup for my fpr as well. which i had actually thought was pretty cool and its was a cheap mod, considering the bracket other companies sell cost over $100.

p1791722_12.jpg

p1791722_13.jpg

ALRIGHT sooo this is my next tasking which is installing the fuel pump relays. now i am terrible at wiring, so i havent gotten around to getting them installed. im trying to do my research first to make sure i get it right the first time. i dont really seeing it be that hard, since there are just two of every color wire. so once i find a good thread explaining this or if anyone would like to give me some insight or photos showing how to, then i will have more updates.
