Adjustable endlink length

I've read that proper length for endlinks is when sway bar arm is parallel to ground. Does the drop in car height directly come off the length of endlink to keep the arm parallel? I've measured the stock endlinks to be about 5". For a 1.5" drop, should the endlink be 3.5"? Do the offerings from BIC or MDC go that short?

If they don't go that short, disassemble them, cut the threaded rod the desired amount, and re-assemble.

The position of the sway bar doesn't really matter as long as there is enough clearance between it and the suspension components during operation.

As long as the bar does not interfer with anything throughout the suspensions full range of motion, then yes, parallel to the ground is the best place to set the bar when the suspension is in the normal (at rest) position.
